Direct X 10 for Windows XP
The only reason I’m running Vista at home is for the graphics. M$ tried to force people to buy Vista by only including DX 10 for Vista and ignoring their millions of XP customers. Well, that’s flopped on them big time.
However, there are always the ingenious people out there who like to tinker with various things and several projects are in the works to port DX 10 to XP. While it’s still in the infancy stage some people have had success. I’m very excited about this project and hope that it will wrap up soon. I just reinstalled at home so I’m not overly excited to try this yet. Next install I will just to see if I can get it to go and if the graphics look just as nice.
